Job description
Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead its dynamic F&B division in Kuwait. This beachfront luxury resort features 405 units, five signature dining destinations, and extensive leisure facilities, including the regionâs first Himalayan Salt Room. As part of the Jumeirah Group, a global luxury hospitality leader, the role offers the chance to drive high-impact guest experiences and operational excellence. This position involves overseeing strategic planning, budget control, team development, promotions, and compliance with Jumeirah's world-class standards.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Food & Beverage strategy to deliver innovative guest experiences aligned with business goals
- Contribute to the Annual Business Plan and Sales & Marketing strategies
- Oversee all operational and administrative functions within the F&B department
- Ensure compliance with Jumeirah standards and continuous improvement in service and hygiene (including HACCP compliance)
- Launch creative promotions and initiatives to boost revenue and guest engagement
- Participate in public relations and brand-enhancing activities
- Monitor competitor trends and international market movements
- Collaborate with Outlet Managers to set budgets and review financial performance
- Improve underperforming areas and drive each outlet as an independent profit center
- Lead, train, and develop Outlet Managers to meet evolving market demands
- Ensure delivery of outstanding guest satisfaction and team performance
Experience & skills
- At least 3 yearsâ experience in a senior F&B management role in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort
- Ability to manage large and diverse operations
- Creativity and innovation in food and beverage concepts and operations
- Demonstrable achievements in improving customer satisfaction and profitability
- Management experience in free-standing restaurants
- Knowledge of HACCP and general health & safety in the workplace
