Job description
The Transfer Pricing Manager role within Tax Advisory Services at BDO UAE, based in Dubai, is responsible for delivering transfer pricing advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base in a multi-jurisdictional environment. The role focuses on transfer pricing annual reporting compliance, preparation of master files and local files, review and vetting of transfer pricing policies, benchmarking analysis of related party transactions, and conducting detailed Functional, Assets and Risk (FAR) analyses. The position requires strong knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS 2.0 developments including Pillar I and Pillar II, and Country-by-Country Reporting requirements. The role supports clients in tax audits and disputes, manages on-site and off-site teams to deliver advisory and compliance projects, and monitors project execution through work progress trackers, responsibility matrices, scheduling updates, and closure procedures. The Transfer Pricing Manager also supports business development initiatives, assists in drafting proposals and RFP responses, performs conflict checks in line with IESBA guidance, and collaborates across service lines to identify and convert new client opportunities while meeting BDO’s quality standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities
- Provide transfer pricing advisory and compliance services including annual reporting, master file and local file preparation
- Review and advise on transfer pricing policies and related party transaction structures
- Conduct benchmarking analysis for related party transactions using recognized benchmarking databases
- Perform detailed Functional, Assets and Risk (FAR) analyses
- Advise on OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS 2.0, Pillar I, Pillar II, and Country-by-Country Reporting requirements
- Support clients during tax audits and dispute resolution processes
- Manage on-site and off-site teams to deliver transfer pricing advisory and compliance projects
- Monitor project delivery using work progress trackers, responsibility matrices, scheduling updates, and closure procedures
- Support managers and senior managers in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
- Draft proposals, RFP responses, presentations, emails, and technical memorandums
- Perform conflict checks and support mitigation activities in accordance with IESBA guidance
- Ensure project delivery meets client expectations and internal quality standards
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of 6+ years of experience in a large accounting firm with multi-jurisdictional presence
- Possess strong knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS 2.0, and Country-by-Country Reporting
- Demonstrate experience in transfer pricing advisory and compliance engagements
- Exhibit working knowledge of benchmarking databases and analytical methodologies
- Demonstrate knowledge of UAE legal and regulatory tax requirements
- Hold a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent alongside a graduation in accounting
- Demonstrate project management experience including tracking, scheduling, and delivery oversight
