The Private Bank Events Marketing Specialist (AVP) role based in Dubai within the Private Bank Emerging Markets Marketing team is responsible for shaping and executing the businessās global event strategy with a primary focus on events in the Middle East. The role involves working closely with key stakeholders across divisions to plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events aligned with business strategy, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid events across regional and global markets. The position reports to the Head of Marketing for Private Bank Emerging Markets and requires collaboration with internal bank divisions, senior management, and external vendors to deliver seamless event execution and high-quality client engagement. Responsibilities include managing business strategic partnerships, coordinating event logistics, managing event budgets, tracking spend against purchase orders, reconciling costs, and driving cost-efficiencies. The role also involves overseeing the client journey across events, optimizing delegate management systems, and enhancing digital tools such as digital ticketing, on-site reporting apps, and delegate apps. The specialist will deliver event registration and attendance reports, provide strategically developed business-focused data insights, and manage client invitation processes by liaising with senior management and regional offices. The role requires experience in event management within financial institutions or luxury industry environments and includes occasional international travel for event coordination, client meetings, and on-site support. Strong technical proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required alongside experience managing regional and global event programs within a private banking or luxury industry context. The role is positioned within Deutsche Bankās global Private Bank marketing environment, supporting client engagement, brand positioning, and business development through high-impact events while adhering to organizational standards, operational efficiency, and strategic marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid marketing events across regional and global markets with a focus on Middle East initiatives and alignment with Private Bank Emerging Markets business strategy and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal bank divisions, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define event objectives, develop event strategies, and ensure seamless execution aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of event planning including logistics, production, venue coordination, digital tools integration, and client engagement delivery.
- Liaise with senior management and regional offices to coordinate client invitation processes, manage guest lists, and ensure smooth communication and execution of client-focused events.
- Manage event budgets including tracking spend against purchase orders, reconciling event costs, monitoring financial performance, and driving cost-efficiency initiatives across event programs.
- Oversee end-to-end client journey across regional and global events including optimization of delegate management system, digital ticketing, on-site reporting app, and delegate apps.
- Deliver event registration, attendance, and engagement reports using PowerPoint and Excel, providing accurate business-focused data insights and performance evaluation metrics.
- Support global event strategy execution by coordinating international travel arrangements, on-site event support, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution across Private Bank Emerging Markets initiatives.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a graduate degree and demonstrate at least 7+ years of event management experience within financial institutions or the luxury industry with exposure to regional and global event execution.
- Demonstrate experience managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events with strong knowledge of event marketing, strategic partnerships, and client engagement initiatives.
- Possess experience managing event budgets including purchase order tracking, cost reconciliation, financial reporting, and cost-efficiency management.
- Demonstrate expertise in stakeholder management including collaboration with senior management, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and regional offices.
- Possess technical proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel for event reporting, presentations, and business-focused data insights analysis.
- Demonstrate experience using delegate management systems, digital ticketing platforms, on-site reporting apps, and delegate apps for event optimization.
- Demonstrate ability to manage client invitation processes, registration workflows, attendance tracking, and reporting for regional and global events.
- Demonstrate flexibility to travel internationally for event coordination, client meetings, and on-site event support within Private Bank Emerging Markets programs.
