Job description
The Senior Specialist Threat Intelligence Analyst role at CPX operates within Information Technology Operations and supports the Threat Intelligence Center by collecting, analyzing, and distributing threat intelligence across the organization. The role focuses on transforming large volumes of data into actionable intelligence findings through advanced research, analysis, and investigative techniques. Responsibilities include authoring and reviewing intelligence products such as assessments, briefings, recommendations, hypotheses, and intelligence gap analyses, as well as reviewing weekly, monthly, and on-demand reports to support mission-driven discussions. The role contributes to situational awareness by providing business context to active and emerging threats, assessing attack characteristics, attribution, and adversary motivation, intent, and capability. The position plays a key role in developing, validating, and continuously improving threat intelligence processes, templates, and procedures, managing and monitoring threat intelligence platforms and feed sources, and assisting in defining corporate intelligence requirements aligned with evolving business needs and technologies. The role also supports continuous innovation by enhancing tools, methodologies, and capabilities of the Threat Intelligence Center, exploring future threat intelligence developments, and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and distribute threat intelligence from multiple sources using all-source intelligence methodologies
- Manage threat intelligence platforms and monitor intelligence feed sources for effectiveness and relevance
- Prepare high-quality intelligence products including assessments, papers, briefings, recommendations, findings, and threat alerts
- Develop, manage, optimize, and continuously improve cyber threat intelligence processes and operating models
- Develop and validate intelligence templates, processes, and procedures and assist in authoring TIP documentation
- Define and support corporate intelligence requirements across business units based on changing priorities, technologies, and risk profiles
- Disseminate intelligence products including alerts, reports, and briefings to relevant stakeholders
- Support organizational situational awareness by providing business context to active or emerging threats
- Conduct intelligence assessments to determine attack characteristics, attribution, and adversary motivation, intent, and capability
- Enhance the Threat Intelligence Center through continuous innovation in tools, processes, and capabilities
- Continuously explore future threat intelligence developments and mentor junior team members
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of eight years of experience as a cyber threat analyst, threat researcher, or intelligence analyst
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related discipline, or possess equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrate strong expertise in the intelligence lifecycle, collection methods, intelligence production, and analysis
- Apply advanced analytical tradecraft including structured analytic techniques, argument mapping, and analytic writing
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of open source intelligence tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Apply strong understanding of the information security threat landscape including cyber-attack vectors, detection techniques, malware analysis, and cybercrime methodologies
- Demonstrate experience working in large-scale security operations environments such as large corporations, military, or government organizations
- Apply formal intelligence analysis training or equivalent intelligence application experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in threat models including the security kill chain and diamond model
- Hold or be eligible for certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or similar Information Security or Cyber Threat Intelligence certification
