Job description
The Account Manager II role at Honeywell is responsible for driving sales growth and maximizing revenue for MK / Honeywell electrical products through effective channel management. The position focuses on developing and executing channel sales strategies, building strong relationships with channel partners such as distributors, dealers, electrical contractors, architects and consultants, and expanding market presence in the electrical trade and project market. Key responsibilities include consultative selling through early engagement with end customers and consultants to understand project needs and recommend suitable Honeywell solutions, developing strategic channel sales plans to achieve assigned AOP targets for the wiring devices portfolio, and maintaining strong long-term partner relationships. The role involves identifying, appointing and onboarding new channel partners and dealers, evaluating channel performance through key metrics, and providing support and resources to help partners achieve their goals. It includes facilitating periodic product training and presentations on wiring devices, collaborating with marketing teams to develop channel-specific campaigns and promotions, preparing accurate sales forecasts and reports using CRM systems, and staying informed about market trends, competitor activities and industry dynamics to refine strategy and identify opportunities. The position requires ensuring adherence to commercial requirements, reviewing channel accounts for discrepancies, and monitoring account receivables. The role demands a bachelorās degree in engineering or a related technical field and 5ā10 years of experience in sales or channel management within the electrical, lighting or wire industry, with specific wiring device experience preferred. Required skills include channel partnership management, revenue growth experience, strong sales strategy understanding, communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, data analysis, problem-solving, CRM proficiency and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Possess 5ā10 years of experience in sales or channel management in the electrical, lighting or wire industry
- Demonstrate experience in wiring devices or closely related product lines
- Show proven success in managing channel partnerships and driving revenue growth
- Understand sales strategies, market dynamics and the electrical trade market
- Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
