Job description
The Director, Cloud Solution Architecture (MEA HQ) leads a team of Cloud Solution Architects focused on Microsoftâs AI-powered Business Applications portfolio, including Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio). The role drives usage, consumption, and customer outcomes aligned to the FY26 AI Business Solutions strategy, ensuring technical excellence, cloud adoption, and solution execution across CSU, STU, and ISD teams. The scope includes landing CSU execution strategy for sales, service, ERP transformation, and low-code Power Platform agents; developing a high-performing CSA organization; ensuring 90% on-strategy delivery alignment; contributing 20% of total pipeline via CSU-created usage; enabling 95% proactive and enhanced services coverage; and fostering deep technical intensity across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise applications. The position requires strong experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, practice development, architecture, software development/support, cloud certifications across Azure/AWS/Google, and customer-facing leadership in large-scale cloud transformation programs.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design and land the CSU execution strategy for priority customer scenarios across sales, service, ERP transformation, and low-code Power Platform agents
- Partner with country CSU leadership and STU teams to support renewals and drive usage
- Coach and develop a high-performing CSA team aligned to FY26 priorities
- Ensure 90% of delivered hours align with CSU on-strategy delivery model
- Drive CSU-created usage pipeline targeting 20% of total pipeline contribution
- Ensure 95% coverage of proactive and enhanced services across the lifecycle
- Collaborate with CSAMs, STU, and ISD to accelerate customer value and ensure effective handovers
- Lead cross-functional execution across technical architecture, cloud adoption, and customer success initiatives
- Oversee technical programs supporting consumption of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform workloads
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field (Masterâs preferred)
- Demonstrate experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- Show people management experience across consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, technical architect managers, and/or people managers
- Possess experience in customer-facing roles
- Bring experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions
- Hold technical cloud certifications such as Azure, AWS, Google, or security certifications
- Provide proven ability to operate in a cross-functional, multi-region environment
