Job description
Dubai Holdingās Group Services division is hiring an Associate Director - Treasury to lead banking operations and trade finance functions for its portfolio of companies. The role involves managing treasury back-office strategy, ensuring compliance and efficiency, and maintaining high-performance standards across all treasury services. You'll develop and manage banking relationships, resolve critical treasury issues, oversee fraud investigations, and drive continuous process improvements, all while fostering a culture of excellence within the team. This is a key leadership role focused on aligning treasury operations with Dubai Holdingās financial objectives.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the treasury back-office strategy aligned with financial objectives
- Define SLAs and KPIs for treasury services and ensure team adherence
- Lead banking operations and trade finance functions for smooth, compliant execution
- Maintain oversight of bank mandates, guarantees, and transactional governance
- Act as primary escalation point for critical treasury-related issues
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk frameworks, and anti-fraud procedures
- Review fraud investigations and collaborate on mitigation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement in treasury operations focusing on cost and efficiency
- Build and manage relationships with banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Manage and develop team capabilities, promoting a high-performance culture
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of experience in banking operations, trade finance, or treasury roles
- Strong leadership and relationship management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of multi-entity treasury operations and banking practices
- Proficiency in treasury systems such as Oracle, Kyriba, SWIFT, and FX management
- Experience managing financial controls and fraud mitigation
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of financial processes and compliance
- Experience in finance shared services or global financial operations
