Job description
People Operations at Google aims to redefine HR through data-driven and people-first strategies. As a Human Resources Consultant based in Riyadh, you will act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers, and leaders, ensuring HR programs are effectively implemented and aligned with the broader people strategy for the region. You'll play a pivotal role in resolving employee relations issues, delivering HR consultations, managing change initiatives, and guiding leaders on organizational effectiveness. You will also oversee compliance with Saudi employment laws and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall Googler experience.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic consultations on HR topics including performance, team and leadership effectiveness, and DEI initiatives
- Contribute to high-priority country-focused HR programs aligned with the local people strategy
- Drive recommendations that enhance the Googler experience within the Saudi organization
- Collaborate with partner teams for seamless HR process delivery
- Manage local employment policies and ensure full regulatory and legal compliance
- Support organizational transitions including restructures and realignment projects
- Coach leaders and managers to build stronger, more effective teams
- Support execution of key HR programs across performance, development, and engagement
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 6 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience
- Experience working in or with Saudi governmental organizations is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage HR programs in complex environments
- Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus
- Fluency in English; Arabic fluency preferred
