Job description
The Process Engineering Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing organizational workflows, systems, and procedures to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance employee experience. The role focuses on end-to-end process optimization across HR, Finance, IT, and other business functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and administrative workflows. The specialist develops and maintains standardized operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and data integrity. The role uses data analytics and performance measurement techniques to assess process effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives. It requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to align process redesign and technology solutions with organizational goals. The position also involves implementing automation and systems improvements using HRIS platforms such as SAP and Oracle, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor regulations and supporting transformation initiatives across enterprise operations.

- The role involves designing, documenting, and maintaining standardized operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and clarity across organizational processes.
- The position requires applying data analytics techniques using tools such as Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems to measure process effectiveness, identify performance gaps, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- The role includes collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to align process improvements with organizational strategy and ensure successful implementation of workflow enhancements.
- The specialist is responsible for recommending and implementing automation and systems optimization solutions, leveraging HRIS platforms such as SAP and Oracle to improve efficiency in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and other HR processes.
- The role involves supporting data governance initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements across all operational processes.
- The position requires contributing to change management initiatives by supporting process transformation efforts, promoting systems thinking, and ensuring adoption of improved workflows across the organization.
Experience & skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required for this role, providing foundational knowledge in business operations and organizational processes.
- The role requires 3–6+ years of experience in process engineering, business transformation, systems optimization, or related operational improvement roles.
- Candidates must have strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing operational data to improve business processes.
- Experience with HRIS or enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is required for managing and optimizing organizational workflows.
- The role requires knowledge of process mapping, workflow analysis, and systems optimization methodologies to support operational transformation initiatives.
- Candidates should demonstrate understanding of Saudi labor law and local market practices, particularly in relation to HR and operational processes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills are required to work effectively across HR, Finance, IT, and other business units.
