Job description

The Civil Supervisor role is part of Wood’s Construction team within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business, based on a full-time onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position supports construction management objectives by assuring the quality and integrity of projects, delivering work on schedule and within budget through the application of in-house construction management procedures and established experience. The role oversees all aspects of field construction for small to medium-sized projects or for a specific area or discipline of larger projects, including directing construction specifications, budgets, and schedules. The Civil Supervisor is generally responsible for defined construction scopes with a value of up to USD 25 million and ensures continuity, consistency, quality assurance, and reliable control across construction activities. The role contributes to Wood’s delivery of large and complex oil, gas, and new energy projects across upstream, midstream, onshore, offshore, gas-to-liquids, decarbonization, and electrification markets, supporting energy security, energy transition, and sustainable power initiatives.
