Job description
The Sourcing & Selection Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by managing recruitment activities and facilitating the onboarding of new employees. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition and Management Officer, the role is responsible for ensuring smooth communication between HR, hiring managers, and candidates. Key responsibilities include updating employee databases, coordinating with hiring managers, performing candidate screenings, managing interview logistics, and overseeing visa and onboarding processes. The coordinator is expected to work within employment laws and support HR initiatives by maintaining accurate records, facilitating assessments, and contributing to recruitment strategies. Based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, the role is full-time and integral to the success of talent acquisition efforts.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Update internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Review job descriptions in accordance with hiring laws and regulations.
- Advertise internal job hiring announcements.
- Perform reference and background checks.
- Conduct initial screenings with candidates and forward details to hiring managers.
- Communicate employer information and benefits during screenings.
- Schedule technical interviews with shortlisted candidates, hiring managers, HR officers, or clients.
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process.
- Follow up on interview feedback status until closure.
- Administer company assessments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws in screening, hiring, and selection.
- Make hiring recommendations to company managers.
- Prepare CTC computations and obtain necessary approvals.
- Prepare offer letters and follow up for acceptance.
- Provide formal interview feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates.
- Ensure all required documents for employment visa applications are submitted.
- Follow up on cancellation documents from selected candidates.
- Update recruitment tracker regularly.
- Update candidates and line managers on visa approval status.
- Enroll new joiner profiles in HRMS system and process approvals in SharePoint.
- Communicate with new joiners for onboarding formalities including accommodation and transportation.
- Arrange visa medical and coordinate Emirates ID fingerprinting.
- Coordinate new joiner inductions with the Talent Management Team.
- Prepare new associate files/folders.
- Address site-level queries regarding recruitment or internal transfers.
- Support HR team with new joiner information and related matters.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to establish cooperative working relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable making independent decisions.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRMS systems.
- Ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of interview techniques and screening methods.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with various sourcing avenues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
