Reporting to the VP Strategic Planning, this Senior Business Analyst works on strategy formulation, execution and corporate performance management for a bank in Doha. Market research, industry trend analysis and internal assessments feed the strategy work. GCC banking gets particular attention, with macroeconomic indicators, competitor financials and emerging trends all tracked closely. Finance is a close partner, since budgets, financial projections and balance sheet targets have to line up with strategic objectives, risk appetite and growth plans. On the performance side, you will help develop and track departmental KPIs and analyse internal functions against peer banks. Board-level presentations, management dashboards and executive reports all come through this seat. Market entry opportunities, strategic alliances and FinTech partnerships across Qatar and the wider GCC also need evaluating. Some strategic projects will have you acting as Project Manager. Candidates need 10+ years of experience, at least 7 of them in banking or financial services, and backgrounds in Group Strategy functions or strategy consulting are welcome.
