Job description
The Managing Consultant – Data Security Architect at IBM Middle East FZ-LLC in Riyadh is responsible for leading consulting engagements focused on data protection and cryptography across KSA and the MEA region. This role involves managing delivery activities, facilitating workshops, developing high-quality deliverables, and supporting solution design aligned with client security requirements. The consultant must demonstrate expertise in data security, cryptographic operations, cloud-native delivery, and compliance standards including KSA NCA ECC, CSA CSM, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. Responsibilities include designing encryption, key management, PKI, and secret management solutions using tools like Thales and HashiCorp Vault. The role also requires developing architecture documents, conducting configuration reviews, and collaborating with international teams. A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, including 5+ years in security consulting or architecture, and 3+ years in international roles, is required. Candidates must be fluent in English and hold a Bachelor's degree. The role entails occasional travel and hybrid work arrangements.
