Job description
Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the launch of new Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) branches and representative offices in the region. This role is critical in ensuring seamless execution of projects, including client onboarding, infrastructure setup, regulatory compliance, and delivery of scalable business models. The Project Manager will work closely with business, technology, and programme teams to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and risk controls, while promoting the Group’s values and conduct standards.

Key responsibilities
- Work with CCIB business teams and stakeholders to meet go-live goals for new market entries.
- Support delivery of end-to-end technology infrastructure for CCIB, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with Technology and Project Leads to deliver controlled and scalable branch launches.
- Collaborate with Programme and Product Owners to prioritize initiatives and ensure effective BAU handover.
- Ensure deployment of CCIB processes aligned with Group policies.
- Promote the Group’s values, Code of Conduct, and risk-aware culture across activities.
- Maintain oversight of governance, risk, and regulatory obligations during delivery.
- Ensure strong governance frameworks and risk controls are in place throughout execution.
- Stay updated on regulatory frameworks and ensure compliance with conduct standards.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve risks or conduct issues effectively.
- Report progress and manage communications with Programme Manager, business, and product teams.
