Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the laboratory ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and manage chemical and consumables inventory
• Develop and implement laboratory schedules and workflows
• Supervise, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel
• Implement and monitor ISO 17025 and other quality standards
• Develop and update SOPs and ensure adherence across the lab
• Conduct audits, manage corrective actions, and prepare regulatory documentation
• Perform complex chemical and environmental analyses as required
• Communicate with clients and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring service quality and satisfaction
• Manage laboratory budgets and financial planning
