Job description
Software and Control Solution (SCS) clients across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia depend on this Jebel Ali based specialist for everything that happens after the sale. Controls retrofit projects, technical support agreements, training and professional services make up the scope, worked in close coordination with Senior Service Managers. The subregion's P&L is yours, covering customer order and fulfilment, revenue, margin, billing and cash collection. Fixed-price and time-and-materials projects both need managing, along with service agreements and the T&Cs behind them. Service proposals start with you during the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) phase, including estimates for labour, schedule, subcontractor scope, tooling and logistics plus a risk assessment. Customers get a single point of contact and a site-level communication plan, with change orders proposed where they add value. Multi-disciplinary teams of GEV personnel, contingent workers, craft labour and subcontractors look to you for leadership and coaching. Work follows GE Vernova's SQDC priorities and Lean principles. Candidates need an engineering degree, at least 8 years with GEV control product systems such as Mark VI, Mark VIe and EX2100/EX2100e, and readiness to travel around 30 to 40% of the time.
