Job description
ADCB's Group Business Services (GBS) team supports the bank's growth and digital evolution, and this Senior Specialist strengthens IT risk and control practices within it. Functional and technical documentation, communications and policies are reviewed, developed and kept clear so they support compliance with bank policy. Quality assurance and governance across key artefacts sit with you, with new processes introduced where gaps appear. Stakeholder workshops and issue resolution activities help close queries on time. Solutions are evaluated and implemented using insight from multiple business areas to support portfolio initiatives. Mini projects are led to agreed objectives, timelines and service standards. A team reports to you, and knowledge is shared through Confluence, Communities of Practice and upskilling sessions. Technical depth still matters, from configuring and troubleshooting network hardware, operating systems and devices to supporting new technology integration. Expect to bring 5+ years in an IT environment, including 2+ years managing people, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
