Job description
The role oversees operational and financial activities for large residential or commercial property portfolios at CBRE, acting as the primary liaison with property owners and asset managers. Responsibilities include managing client relationships through consistent communication, transparent reporting, and value-added insights, while addressing owner concerns and supporting long-term strategy development. The manager supervises day-to-day property operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and forecasting, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance. Duties include handling contract bidding and vendor selection to ensure quality service delivery at competitive rates. The position also manages tenant relations, delivering superior customer service to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals. Financial responsibilities include preparing and managing property budgets, tracking expenses, analyzing financial performance, overseeing rent collection and renewals, and using digital accounting and reporting tools to maximize property profitability. The role requires leadership capabilities, regulatory knowledge, property management system proficiency, and the ability to manage complex information and communication within teams and client environments.

Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of experience and education considered
- 5–8 years of relevant property management experience
- Strong ability to lead communication around sensitive or complex issues and manage performance expectations
- Leadership skills to motivate teams and achieve operational targets
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or AppFolio, and MS Office
- Knowledge of relevant property laws and regulations
- Strong organizational skills and advanced inquisitive mindset
