Job description
The Account Executive Expert (SAP Cloud Solutions) role based in Kuwait is responsible for empowering customers to achieve their full potential by strategically positioning SAP cloud solutions to address unique business challenges and lay a strong foundation for future success. The role focuses on end-to-end account ownership, including managing sales of software licenses and cloud subscriptions, developing and executing strategic account plans, and building trusted customer relationships. The position requires maintaining pipeline management, demand generation, and opportunity management using SAP’s comprehensive solution portfolio, including industry-specific and line-of-business (LoB) solutions. The role includes conducting White Space analysis to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, orchestrating cross-functional teams using the OneSAP approach, maintaining accurate customer and pipeline information in CRM systems, and positioning SAP solutions competitively. The candidate will lead virtual account teams, align internal stakeholders, and maximize SAP’s sales support ecosystem. The role requires extensive experience in business application software sales, SaaS, cloud strategy, complex sales cycles, and large transactions. The position involves working within Kuwait market conditions, handling renewals, expansions, and subscription-based solutions, and leveraging SAP Cloud Suite Portfolio, RISE with SAP, and GROW with SAP offerings. The Account Executive Expert collaborates with SAP leadership, product and solution management teams, and industry teams to drive customer success. The role also requires understanding SAP Corporate Strategy, technology innovation, Artificial Intelligence capabilities, ERP solutions, and process improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities
- Serve as end-to-end account owner by managing sales of software licenses and cloud subscriptions, establishing trusted customer relationships, and executing strategic account plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Develop and execute strategic account plans based on customer technology landscape, strategic goals, competitive environment, and business priorities to drive sustainable growth
- Maintain pipeline management and demand generation activities, ensuring a healthy and advancing sales funnel using CRM systems and SAP solution portfolio
- Leverage internal resources including marketing, inside sales, partner channels, and SAP ecosystem to generate demand and manage opportunities effectively
- Conduct White Space analysis to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and expand SAP Cloud Suite Portfolio adoption
- Orchestrate and lead virtual cross-functional account teams using the OneSAP approach to align with customer strategic objectives and ensure successful sales outcomes
- Lead customer engagements including negotiations, renewals, expansions, and subscription-based solution sales while handling large transactions and lengthy sales cycles
- Maintain accurate customer information, pipeline data, and forecasting metrics in CRM systems while positioning SAP solutions competitively and aligning with SAP Corporate Strategy
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 10+ years of experience in sales of complex business software or IT solutions including SaaS, cloud solutions, and enterprise applications
- Possess extensive experience within the Kuwait market including customer engagement, industry knowledge, and competitive positioning
- Demonstrate proven success in business application software sales and leading team-selling environments involving cross-functional teams
- Exhibit ability to handle large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in fast-paced and competitive markets involving complex sales cycles
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills with experience in renewals, expansions, and up-sell of subscription-based cloud solutions
- Demonstrate proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), pipeline management, sales forecasting, and account governance
- Demonstrate fluency in Business English and Arabic with additional language proficiency considered advantageous
- Demonstrate experience with SAP Cloud Suite Portfolio, RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, Artificial Intelligence, ERP, and technology innovation initiatives
