Job description
The Brand Development Manager – Beauty Distribution at Al Tayer Insignia is responsible for driving the strategic growth, positioning, and expansion of beauty brands across UAE and GCC. The role focuses on developing and implementing trade strategies, leveraging customer insights, and ensuring competitive differentiation while managing budgets, inventory, and marketing activities. This position will partner with business channels, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to deliver strong brand equity, successful trade plans, and measurable customer engagement. It requires a mix of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and hands-on execution within the luxury beauty retail sector.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategies, ensuring alignment with KPIs and overall business objectives.
- Lead trade growth initiatives and brand agenda development across multiple beauty portfolios.
- Conduct and structure market research, competitive analysis, and CRM-based customer insights.
- Manage annual budget, including inventory OTB and A&P allocation, ensuring financial discipline.
- Support new brand development, rebranding initiatives, and strategic brand rollouts.
- Oversee brand capability building, including training modules and feedback collection.
- Ensure protection of brand intellectual property and coordinate with legal teams.
- Plan and lead brand activations, PR campaigns, and engagement events.
- Simplify complex strategies into actionable communication for internal teams.
- Maintain a Brand Community Forum to share best practices and successful case studies.
- Prepare monthly and periodic business reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Guide and motivate team members, identify key talent, and ensure career development pathways.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and operations for seamless execution.
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of experience in Beauty Retail in a brand management or development role.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and P&L accounts.
- Strong knowledge of strategic and financial performance indicators.
- Fluent in English; Arabic or French is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence leaders.
- Experience in analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
- Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with GCC regional trends, cultural nuances, and beauty retail dynamics.
