Job description
Every list in the Operating Theatre Complex at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi depends on a well-staffed, well-stocked and safe theatre team, and this Unit Manager leads the nurses who make that possible. Patient care follows evidence-based clinical standards, with the five stages of the scientific nursing process applied consistently. Rosters, stock and other clinical and non-clinical resources are managed for cost efficiency without compromising safety. Compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards is reviewed regularly as part of continuous quality improvement and risk management. Mentoring staff and keeping the team engaged both shape the patient experience. Meetings and presentations to hospital leadership are part of the routine. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in nursing and 3 to 5 years of senior nursing experience, ideally in a private hospital, with a master's degree and 5 to 10 years preferred. Preference is given to UAE Nationals under the Emiratization Program.
