Job description
In this role you will provide project engineering and management for Subsea Pipelines of the MM Redevelopment project, in accordance with the QatarEnergy Project Management Framework. You will apply your experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major EPIC projects in offshore oil and gas to support the successful delivery of subsea pipeline scope. You are responsible for applying specific work experience in the execution of Greenfield and Brownfield projects involving Subsea Pipelines. Your responsibilities include communicating effectively through presentations, report writing, and management of meetings to support project delivery and stakeholder alignment.

- Provide project engineering and management for Subsea Pipelines of the MM Redevelopment project
- Ensure execution in accordance with the QatarEnergy Project Management Framework
- Apply experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major EPIC projects in offshore oil and gas
- Apply specific work experience in the execution of Greenfield and Brownfield projects involving Subsea Pipelines
- Communicate effectively through presentations, report writing, and management of meetings
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to progress subsea pipeline engineering activities in line with schedule, budget, and quality expectations
- Support coordination between engineering, procurement, and construction activities specific to the subsea pipeline package
- Anticipate and support resolution of technical or execution challenges specific to subsea pipeline work
- Maintain close engagement with project management and technical teams to keep subsea pipeline engineering aligned with wider project objectives
Experience & skills
- Bring a minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major EPIC projects in offshore oil and gas
- Show specific work experience in the execution of Greenfield and Brownfield projects involving Subsea Pipelines
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, including presentation, report writing, and management of meetings
- Hold a B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University, with a higher degree being advantageous
- Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management association or institution will be an added advantage
- Demonstrate familiarity with EPIC project execution models spanning engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases
- Show the judgment and technical depth expected of a senior engineer with over a decade of offshore project experience
- Demonstrate the ability to operate within a structured project management framework such as that used by QatarEnergy
- Show the ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, procurement, and construction functions on a major offshore project
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills suited to interacting with project leadership, technical authorities, and cross-functional teams
