The Account Manager, Dell (Enterprise Servers & Networking) at Logicom Distribution in Muscat, Oman is responsible for handling product account management functions related to the company’s strategic product lines while providing Pre-Sales support through available presales tools and resources for the company’s products and solutions. The role focuses on managing and developing both existing and new clients, responding to customer requirements, and achieving defined revenue and margin targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Account Manager is responsible for the sales target for Qatar and executes against a comprehensive account plan for Enterprise accounts in the region, establishing direct relationships with large enterprise accounts and articulating compelling value propositions around enterprise solutions. The position involves working with partners to extend reach and promote the brand within the assigned territory, developing existing Channel partners to improve coverage and overachieve sales targets, and identifying and hiring new Channel partners to expand coverage. The role requires developing and executing a Sales Strategy to drive identified opportunities to closure, partnering with Pre-Sales Team representatives and the Professional Services Organization to ensure solution implementation and deployment services are properly estimated and positioned. The Account Manager manages relationships with Vendor and key decision makers, aligns and collaborates with Partners to implement the right strategy, and supports the growth of the selling partners portfolio by aligning programs and initiatives. The position requires experience selling enterprise servers and networking products, direct field experience with large enterprise accounts, experience with channel management, proficiency in deal closing and negotiation, and the ability to manage forecast and pipeline with date-driven deadlines. The successful candidate must hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity or a similar field, possess 5–10 years of experience in UAE and/or Gulf countries, demonstrate a proven sales and overachieving track record, and be fluent in Arabic and English.

- Manage product account management functions for strategic product lines and provide Pre-Sales support using available presales tools and resources to position enterprise servers, networking products, and enterprise solutions effectively.
- Drive and own the sales target for Qatar by executing a comprehensive account plan for Enterprise accounts in the region and establishing direct relationships with large enterprise accounts.
- Develop and execute a Sales Strategy to drive identified opportunities to closure, ensuring individual revenue and margin targets are met or exceeded while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Channel partners to extend reach, promote the brand within the territory, develop existing Channel partners to improve coverage, and identify and hire new Channel partners to strengthen market presence.
- Collaborate directly with representatives from the Pre-Sales Team and Professional Services Organization to ensure proposed solution implementation and deployment services are accurately estimated and correctly positioned.
- Manage relationships with Vendor and key decision makers, articulate compelling value propositions around enterprise solutions, and align and collaborate with Partners to implement the right go-to-market strategy.
- Manage forecast and pipeline activities with date-driven deadlines, ensure accurate reporting of opportunity status, and partner with multiple stakeholders to align programs and initiatives that drive growth of the selling partners portfolio.
Experience & skills
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity or other similar discipline with 5–10 years of experience in UAE and/or Gulf countries.
- Demonstrate experience selling enterprise servers and networking products with direct field experience working with large enterprise accounts and a proven sales or overachieving track record.
- Possess strong expertise in channel management, including developing existing Channel partners, identifying and hiring new Channel partners, and expanding coverage within the assigned territory.
- Exhibit proficiency in deal closing and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage revenue targets, margin targets, forecast accuracy, and pipeline management aligned to date-driven deadlines.
- Provide effective Pre-Sales support and collaborate with Pre-Sales Team and Professional Services Organization to position solution implementation and deployment services accurately.
- Maintain strong Vendor and decision-maker relationship management capabilities while articulating enterprise solutions value propositions tailored to customer requirements.
- Demonstrate fluency in Arabic and English along with excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills to manage enterprise accounts and stakeholder engagements effectively.
