Job description
The Specialist - Check In and Dispatch for Red Sea Globalās Mobility department plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, timely, and efficient operation of transportation services. The role involves coordinating vehicle dispatch according to daily guest transfer schedules, managing driver check-ins and check-outs, monitoring real-time operations through the Magenta system, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. Responsibilities include assigning drivers to vehicles based on operational needs, rerouting in response to urgent requests, and communicating closely with Planning and Operations teams. The specialist conducts grooming checks via the SQOR application to maintain driver appearance and vehicle readiness standards, and ensures compliance with cleanliness and presentation requirements. Additionally, the role encompasses maintaining dispatch records, generating daily operational reports, and tracking key metrics like on-time performance and vehicle utilization. It requires close collaboration with planning teams to identify process improvements, enhance workflow efficiency, and support the rollout of new systems. The position demands a balance of technical and organizational skill, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, operational coordination, analytical decision-making, and safety and compliance awareness.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles are dispatched on time according to the daily guest transfer schedule
- Assign drivers to vehicles based on availability and operational requirements
- Monitor dispatch activities in real time and reroute drivers for urgent or high-priority transfers
- Oversee driver check-in and check-out procedures at the base
- Manage key handovers for vehicle dispatch and return
- Brief drivers on schedules, routes, and special instructions before departure
- Monitor driver status and locations throughout shifts to ensure timely service delivery
- Track driver and vehicle movements using the Magenta system
- Identify and resolve delays or disruptions to maintain service standards
- Record on-road incidents and report issues to the Operations team for immediate action
- Conduct routine grooming checks via the SQOR application to ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards
- Verify vehicle cleanliness and readiness prior to dispatch
- Document daily dispatch records, driver assignments, and operational logs
- Prepare end-of-day reports on transfers, delays, and encountered issues
- Collaborate with the Planning Team to suggest operational improvements
- Support implementation of new systems and process enhancements as directed
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in the transportation sector
- Demonstrated expertise in fleet and mobility operations
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in operational planning, coordination, and execution
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
