Job description
The Accountant (Financial Accountant) role within a fast-paced international FMCG finance environment is a core accounting and reporting position responsible for executing end-to-end financial operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Ledger functions. The role involves active participation in month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal financial controls. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise and hands-on involvement in financial reporting activities across a multinational or group structure environment. The Accountant will work extensively with SAP for financial transactions and reporting, while leveraging advanced Excel capabilities including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and VBA to manage and analyze large datasets. The role also involves working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik for financial analysis and reporting, alongside SQL exposure for data extraction and manipulation. This position is designed for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capabilities, able to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced, and international environment. The role is not audit-focused and requires immediate contribution from day one, with progression potential into a Senior Accountant position. Responsibilities include financial execution, reporting accuracy, and operational ownership of accounting functions across a multinational FMCG organization.
