Job description
Cyber Test & Evaluation (CT&E) Senior Consultant role based in Abu Dhabi within a leading cybersecurity organization in the UAE. The position is focused on advanced cyber security testing, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, red team operations, and large-scale security evaluations across enterprise systems, networks, and applications. The role requires designing and executing complex security testing engagements, developing tailored testing strategies based on client requirements, and providing strategic advisory on security risks and remediation approaches. The consultant is responsible for delivering detailed technical reports documenting findings, vulnerabilities, and mitigation recommendations. The role includes direct client engagement to understand security requirements, manage expectations, and maintain strong professional relationships across enterprise environments. It also involves mentoring junior and intermediate consultants, contributing to capability development within the cybersecurity team. The position requires deep technical understanding of networking, operating systems, cybersecurity principles, and security testing frameworks and methodologies. It operates in a high-impact consulting environment where the consultant supports strengthening enterprise security posture across multiple clients and industries.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale cybersecurity assessments including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security evaluations across enterprise systems, networks, and applications
- Design and execute advanced red team exercises and penetration testing engagements using security testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Develop tailored cybersecurity testing strategies based on client security requirements and organizational risk profiles
- Provide strategic advisory on cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and remediation approaches to enterprise clients
- Prepare, document, and deliver detailed technical security reports outlining findings, risk assessments, and mitigation recommendations
- Engage directly with clients to understand security requirements, manage expectations, and maintain ongoing professional relationships
- Mentor and guide junior and intermediate cybersecurity consultants to enhance technical capability and delivery quality
- Contribute to strengthening enterprise security posture through continuous assessment, advisory, and improvement recommendations
Experience & skills
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment within cybersecurity environments
- Strong hands-on experience with security testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies used in red team and penetration testing operations
- Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, and core cybersecurity principles and attack surfaces
- Proven experience leading cybersecurity teams and managing client-facing security consulting engagements
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in complex technical security environments
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or OSCP (highly desirable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
- Experience working in enterprise cybersecurity environments involving security testing, risk assessment, and advisory services
