Job description
The Recruitment Officer β Emiratization at ENGIE IMEA (MESCAT Middle East DMCC) is a key Human Resources role responsible for executing end-to-end talent acquisition strategies within a global low-carbon energy organization operating across power generation, water desalination, district cooling, energy solutions, and renewable energy including green hydrogen, wind, and solar. The role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support business growth across the India, Asia, Middle East, and Africa region. The position requires extensive experience in talent sourcing through job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, professional networks, and referral programs, while maintaining candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. The role involves conducting phone and Microsoft Teams screening interviews, administering assessments, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The Recruitment Officer ensures compliance with employment laws, maintains accurate documentation within ATS systems, and leverages market research, salary benchmarking, and recruitment analytics to provide insights to hiring managers. The role includes employer branding activities such as representing the company at career fairs and networking events, promoting organizational culture, and supporting onboarding processes including visa coordination. The position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders such as hiring managers, management teams, and employee referral programs, as well as external entities including recruitment agencies, university career centers, and job boards, while operating in a complex matrix organization with a strong emphasis on data management, reporting, and recruitment process optimization.

Key responsibilities
- Source and attract candidates through job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, professional networks, and referral programs
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future hiring requirements
- Conduct phone and Microsoft Teams screening interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Administer assessments and tests for specific roles when required
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers or interview panels and ensure a positive interview experience
- Collect and communicate interview feedback to relevant stakeholders and maintain transparent communication throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure engagement and alignment
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment laws, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Conduct market research on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to support hiring decisions
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, candidate profiles, and workforce planning needs
- Promote employer branding through career fairs, networking events, and recruitment marketing initiatives
- Support onboarding processes including visa coordination and documentation to ensure smooth transition for new hires
- Manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies, university career centers, and external talent sources
- Generate recruitment reports, maintain candidate databases, and support data-driven decision-making
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in recruitment within a complex matrix organization
- Experience working with third-party recruitment agencies and applying creative sourcing techniques
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting software
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance requirements
- Excellent data management skills including candidate database creation, pipeline tracking, and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage high-volume recruitment workloads under tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to work independently while adapting to shifting priorities and organizational needs
