Job description
Dubai Festival City Masterplan sits at the center of this Development Manager role, with strategic direction and asset value enhancement both riding on how well the development gets guided from initial planning through to project handover. You lead the entire development process, keeping financial returns, budget discipline and high-quality deliverables in balance throughout. Consultants get selected through a structured process, from inviting proposals and issuing Requests for Proposals through to negotiation and internal approval documentation. Authorities management runs alongside this, tracking documentation with consultant teams against programme dates and securing project approvals at each milestone. Design development moves from concept through detailed design, with consultants appointed to protect the project's overall vision and cost estimates assessed against approved budgets. Project management ties everything together, coordinating between the owner, consultants, contractors and end tenants while monitoring change management processes for approvals and cost impacts. Procurement strategy gets developed jointly with the Procurement Team, keeping company policy front and center. Project status, construction progress and financial performance all get reported through monthly Project Control Group Papers and executive dashboards. Tenant coordination and project handover round out the role, with handover dates to retailers met and quality sign-offs completed before assets pass to their owners.
