Job description
Responsible for executing the full recruitment cycle for local hiring levels L1 and L2, aligned with Panda Retail Company’s approved manpower plan. The role involves sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews, managing recruitment logistics, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining consistent communication with candidates to enhance the candidate journey. The Recruitment Officer will implement the on-boarding process, update and manage the applications database, and execute the recruitment reporting function. Duties include maximizing candidate flow through job postings, managing internal job postings, liaising with local agencies and institutions, and participating in recruitment events to promote Panda as an employer of choice. The role includes overseeing seasonal recruitment and ensuring the recruitment process is managed through the designated recruitment system. Requires data analytics, problem solving, presentation, and strong computer skills, with preference for experience in retail or FMCG sectors and competency-based interviewing.

Key responsibilities
- Execute the full recruitment cycle for local hiring levels L1 and L2 in alignment with the annual recruitment plan
- Understand manpower requirements of divisions and provide timely recruitment services
- Screen CVs and conduct telephonic or face-to-face interviews based on job descriptions
- Coordinate technical interviews with technical managers to ensure timely vacancy fulfillment
- Implement the onboarding process from documentation to joining to ensure retention and brand image
- Post vacancies on Panda career page to drive candidate applications
- Implement and manage internal job posting processes according to internal post guidelines
- Liaise with local agencies, colleges, and universities to foster recruitment pipelines
- Coordinate and participate in local recruitment events to promote Panda as an employer of choice
- Manage seasonal recruitment campaigns
- Maintain and update the applications database with potential candidates
- Manage and send re-hire lists to the HR department for follow-up
- Ensure the recruitment process is conducted via the recruitment system
- Update and maintain weekly recruitment reports through interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or a relevant major
- Demonstrate ability to influence internal clients and hiring teams on staffing decisions
- Possess experience in competency-based interview techniques
- Be personable and energetic with a passion for recruitment
- Have strong oral and written communication skills
- Possess strong computer skills
- Demonstrate data analytics, problem solving, and presentation skills
- Preferably have experience within a retail or FMCG environment
