Job description
Billing, credit memos, collections, reconciliations and reporting all sit with this Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant in Abu Dhabi. Monthly and quarterly reconciliations, along with aged receivables analysis, catch discrepancies before they grow. Senior management sees AR performance through reports and dashboards prepared here. Customers come to you with billing queries, and payment terms are negotiated directly with them. Sales, customer service and finance teams work alongside you to make AR workflows more efficient. UAE financial regulations, IFRS and group accounting standards apply throughout, and month-end and year-end closes need accruals and adjustments. Junior accounting staff are coached on AR best practice. Candidates need 7 to 9 years in accounts receivable or senior accounting, ERP experience with Oracle NetSuite or SAP, strong IFRS knowledge and fluent Arabic and English, with a Bachelor's degree and CPA or ACCA a plus.
