Job description
The Senior Associate – Consulting, Digital & Cyber at PwC Riyadh contributes to client engagements by supporting the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity programs across various domains. This includes strategy, GRC, architecture, IAM, and cybersecurity solutions aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO27, and other leading practices. The role involves assisting in target technical security architecture design, SOC design, and close collaboration with security vendors and system integrators to implement cybersecurity solutions. The position also encompasses client engagement, research on emerging technologies, knowledge dissemination, and support in developing new service offerings within the Technology business unit. The Senior Associate works collaboratively with regional and international teams and communicates effectively with executives, IT personnel, and user communities while contributing to business development and client proposals.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support the design and development of comprehensive cybersecurity programs across strategy, GRC, architecture, IAM, and solutions domains
- Assist in designing target technical security architecture, analyzing emerging cybersecurity technologies including threat intelligence, APT mitigation, DLP, SIEM, next-generation firewalls, analytics, and incident response solutions
- Support the design and implementation of Security Operations Centers (SOC), including processes, technologies, and staffing requirements
- Implement cybersecurity solutions on client premises, collaborating with security vendors and system integrators
- Communicate effectively with IT personnel, executives, and user communities to ensure alignment and clarity of cybersecurity initiatives
- Assist in business development by developing technical and financial proposals and supporting new service offerings in the Technology business unit
- Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity technologies and disseminate knowledge internally to Technology consultants and clients
- Collaborate with regional Middle East and international teams on client engagements and internal initiatives
- Support service innovation initiatives for the Technology business unit in cybersecurity domains
- Work collaboratively with other cybersecurity experts to drive positive change and enhance client security posture
Experience & skills
- B.A/B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or related field; M.Sc. preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity consulting or related fields
- Strong understanding of emerging cybersecurity technologies and standards
- Experience with IAM, GRC, SIEM/SOC, and DLP is a plus
- Ability to deliver results in a flexible and adaptive manner under tight deadlines
- Structured thinking and strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads effectively
- Advanced IT proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Client relationship experience in Saudi Arabia or UAE is advantageous
