Job description
Mercer is offering a 6-month paid internship for an Investment Consulting Administrator within the Wealth Line of Business at its Dubai office located in Dubai International Financial Centre. The role supports investment consultants in conducting investment manager searches, asset allocation studies, portfolio construction reviews, and ad-hoc investment-related projects for clients. The intern will assist in preparing investment-related materials including investment analysis, commentary, performance reporting and advice under tight deadlines, utilizing Mercer’s proprietary tools to analyze asset allocations and investment managers and evaluate analytical outputs. Responsibilities include communicating with investment managers, record keepers, custodians, external auditors and third parties to gather and clarify client-specific data, supporting internal projects, responding to ad-hoc client and stakeholder queries, and contributing to servicing existing clients and prospects. The program includes mentorship and formal training opportunities, providing exposure to life as an analyst within a global professional services environment. The position operates under a hybrid work model requiring at least three days per week in-office or onsite with clients.

Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with working knowledge of Excel
- Show experience in data analysis and presentation design
- Work towards the CFA designation
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adapt to tight deadlines and changing client needs within a hybrid work environment
