Job description
The Hotel Manager | Management Office (VAJ) is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives, financial performance targets, and brand standards. This senior leadership role oversees all aspects of hotel operations, including rooms, food and beverage, spa, leasing, revenue management, and marketing coordination. The role holder ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while driving employee engagement and operational efficiency. Acting as the highest authority within the hotel (where applicable), the Hotel Manager is accountable for commercial success, revenue growth, cost control, and return on investment. The position requires strong financial acumen, advanced knowledge of hospitality systems, and the ability to support and challenge revenue and sales teams to maximize room occupancy and ancillary revenues. The Hotel Manager also collaborates with marketing and public relations functions to ensure successful campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation. This role demands a results-driven, customer-focused leader with extensive luxury hospitality experience and a strong ownership mindset to protect and grow business assets.

- Lead and manage the full spectrum of hotel operations, including rooms division, food and beverage, spa services, leasing, and ancillary revenue streams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive maximum financial performance by overseeing revenue management, sales targets, cost control measures, ROI optimization, and budget adherence.
- Ensure all hotel operations consistently reflect and deliver the established luxury brand standards and guest experience expectations.
- Support and challenge revenue, sales, and marketing teams to achieve room occupancy targets, enhance F&B and spa profitability, and execute effective promotional campaigns and PR initiatives.
- Monitor operational performance through financial analysis, project tracking, and quality assessments to ensure completion within time, budget, and quality benchmarks.
- Implement robust internal controls and cost efficiency initiatives to protect business assets and enhance operational productivity.
- Foster high levels of employee engagement, talent development, and team leadership to maintain a performance-driven culture.
- Drive continuous improvement by adapting to industry trends, challenging the status quo, and embedding innovation across hotel operations.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 10 years of cumulative experience in progressively complex hospitality roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position within a luxury hotel brand.
- Proven career history as a Hotel Manager, Executive Assistant Manager (Rooms or F&B), or Director of Operations within a reputable hospitality organization.
- Strong understanding of hospitality systems and accounting platforms used in hotel operations.
- Advanced financial management and cost control expertise to safeguard profitability and business assets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive commercial performance across rooms, F&B, spa, and leasing operations.
- Strong project management capability with a track record of delivering initiatives on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related discipline preferred.
