Job description
Microsoft is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead its Retail & Telco sales business in Saudi Arabia. The role involves building and leading a high-performing sales team, driving digital transformation with strategic customers, and delivering revenue growth through Microsoft’s software, cloud, and AI solutions. The incumbent will engage at the most senior levels of customer organizations, disrupt traditional thinking with innovative approaches, and orchestrate virtual teams and partners to deliver business outcomes. This position requires strong industry expertise, proven sales leadership, and the ability to execute against complex account strategies in a competitive environment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve quota and growth targets
- Build and expand strategic customer relationships within Retail & Telco sector
- Drive digital transformation strategies tailored to customer business outcomes
- Present Microsoft solutions, capabilities, and architectures to senior executives
- Oversee structuring of deals and define negotiation strategies
- Maintain healthy sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and compliance with sales process
- Disrupt customer and sales team mindsets with innovative approaches to change
- Provide feedback from customers and partners to global industry teams to improve offerings
- Orchestrate internal and external stakeholders, including partners, to deliver end-to-end customer value
- Continuously enhance sales, industry, and technology knowledge to stay ahead of competitive threats
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in Retail & Telco industry within Saudi market
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Experience selling software, cloud, and AI solutions
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and market share growth
- Executive maturity and ability to build trust with senior decision-makers
- Strong business planning, coaching, and sales discipline skills
- Ability to anticipate market changes and develop industry-relevant solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic preferred)
