Job description
The Senior Consultant - Procurement (Real Estate) at Turner & Townsend in Riyadh will be a key member of the Contract Services Team, providing expert end-to-end procurement services for large-scale public and private sector projects. The role involves delivering procurement strategy advice, managing tender development and supplier engagement processes, and contributing to business development initiatives. Candidates should possess significant experience in construction packages, especially within the Middle East, and familiarity with standard form contracts. The role supports the growth of Turner & Townsend’s procurement services and the candidate will collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver impactful procurement solutions on flagship real estate projects. This position is part of an internationally recognized and award-winning consultancy, working with major global clients and complex programmes.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
- Manage and collaborate with teams on end-to-end procurement services for major projects
- Support the development and growth of procurement services at Turner & Townsend
- Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team's proposition
- Assist in delivering team and wider business performance targets
- Prepare bid and proposal documentation to support the team’s work-winning efforts
Experience & skills
- Experience in construction packages is essential
- Experience in the Middle East is essential
- Experience in strategic procurement environments
- Strong background in tender preparation and documentation
- Experience in supplier engagement through to contract award
- Familiarity with a range of standard form contracts and negotiation
- Working towards or holding MCIPS accreditation
- Degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement preferred
