Job description
Before any limit goes live at ADIB, it passes through this desk, which acts as the last filter in the limit approval process. Each exposure is checked against its approvals, the Credit Policy, Product Manuals and department SOPs, as well as documentation standards for security and facility agreements. Nothing is released until conditions precedent are met and securities, insurance assignments and source documents are in place, or a waiver or deferral is on record. Under the Team Leader's supervision, you will prepare and review FOL, Agreements and Security documents. Systems need timely updates on risk rating, expiry dates and collateral details. Exceptions get logged once approved, overdue items go to business and Risk Managers each month, and customer exposure details are reported to the Central Bank. Safe custody of credit and security documentation also falls to you, along with backup duty for the security chubb keys. Business partners expect limits handled within SLA turnaround times. Most candidates bring 7 to 10 years of banking experience, 3+ of them in credit documentation and operations, and a thorough understanding of Islamic Credit Products.
