Marsh Emirates Insurance Brokerage LLC, part of Marsh Risk, a global leader in risk management, insurance brokerage, reinsurance, and consulting, is seeking an Emirati Business Development Manager – Trade Credit Insurance based in Dubai. The role is full-time and focuses on driving growth within the trade credit insurance segment across the UAE and beyond. The position is responsible for acquiring new clients, generating revenue, and expanding Marsh’s market footprint by independently sourcing new business opportunities, managing a structured sales pipeline, and engaging senior decision-makers. The role involves leading commercial negotiations, delivering credit risk mitigation strategies, and collaborating closely with internal teams across Corporate, Risk Management, and Mercer Marsh Benefits to unlock cross-selling opportunities. The Business Development Manager operates within Marsh’s compliance, governance, and hybrid working policies, staying informed on market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging sectors while representing Marsh at industry events and professional networks. Marsh operates globally across 130 countries with more than 90,000 colleagues and over $24 billion in annual revenue, offering a hybrid work model requiring at least three days per week in the office or onsite with clients.

Key responsibilities
- Independently source and develop new trade credit insurance business aligned with Marsh’s strategic growth objectives
- Build, manage, and progress a robust sales pipeline through defined sales stages with accurate forecasting and reporting
- Conduct client meetings, needs assessments, and tailored solution presentations focused on trade credit insurance and credit risk mitigation
- Lead commercial negotiations and close new revenue opportunities within the insurance and commercial risk space
- Collaborate with internal teams across Corporate, Risk Management, and Mercer Marsh Benefits to maximize cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging sectors to inform business development strategy
- Represent Marsh at industry events, professional networks, and client engagements to enhance brand presence
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and new client acquisition targets while adhering to compliance, governance, and hybrid working policies
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven success in B2B business development, preferably within financial services, insurance, or commercial risk environments
- Show confidence and discipline in cold calling, self-generated lead development, and engaging senior financial decision-makers
- Exhibit a strong track record of closing deals and influencing clients using clear trade credit insurance and credit risk mitigation strategies
- Apply strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and a structured sales approach to opportunity management
- Be an Emirati professional able to work within Marsh’s hybrid work model and represent the organization in the UAE market
