The Relationship Manager, Deposits & Employee Banking (Emirati Deposits Team) role within the Retail Banking Group focuses on proactively driving new-to-bank business to grow Emirati and Islamic banking presence while maintaining strong client relationships to ensure the bank remains a primary financial institution for targeted clients. The role is responsible for delivering agreed liabilities numbers, achieving deposit growth, and enabling significant cross-sell of other banking products. It requires proactive solicitation and management of business opportunities aligned with defined risk-reward parameters, ensuring all relationships meet the bank’s credit risk standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders across Retail Banking Group (RBG), Corporate and Institutional Banking Group (CIBG), and SME FX teams to maximize cross-referral opportunities and optimize client engagement outcomes. The position also requires strict adherence to compliance frameworks including KYC, AML, account reviews based on risk levels, and high-value transaction monitoring, ensuring full regulatory and internal policy alignment. The role emphasizes strong coordination across business units to ensure seamless service delivery and effective intra-organization liaison for client servicing. It also includes maintaining consistent productivity and performance as a self-starter, actively managing relationships, and ensuring continuous engagement with clients to enhance wallet share and banking penetration. The position is fundamentally focused on deposit growth, relationship deepening, compliance adherence, and revenue expansion through structured banking product offerings and disciplined risk management practices within the UAE retail banking ecosystem.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively drive new-to-bank Emirati and Islamic banking relationships to grow deposits and liabilities within the Retail Banking Group portfolio
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships to ensure high wallet share and position the bank as the primary financial institution for targeted clients
- Deliver agreed liability targets and execute cross-selling of banking products across retail banking offerings
- Proactively solicit and manage business opportunities within approved risk-reward parameters and credit risk guidelines
- Ensure strict compliance with KYC, AML, account review processes, and high-value transaction monitoring requirements
- Coordinate and collaborate with RBG, CIBG, and SME FX teams to optimize referrals, service delivery, and product penetration
- Manage intra-organization liaison activities to ensure seamless service delivery and resolution of client banking needs
