Job description
The AI Sales Specialist – Google Cloud, GTM is responsible for building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers across the GCC. The role focuses on enterprise software, cloud computing, and AI/ML solutions, leveraging Google Cloud’s portfolio including Vertex AI and Gemini models. The specialist partners with internal GCP business teams and external stakeholders to drive business growth, deliver AI-powered solutions, and provide subject matter expertise. The position involves managing business cycles, influencing long-term account direction, guiding adoption of AI solutions, developing account plans aligned with the responsible AI framework, and engaging with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously. The role operates in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Channels teams to develop GTM strategies, close agreements, and maximize customer impact.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Build and expand relationships with new and existing customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor
- Manage full business cycles from opportunity identification, solution scoping, to account growth and revenue realization
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with Google's Responsible AI Framework to ensure ethical and effective deployment of AI solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Channels to drive go-to-market strategies and close deals
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify AI/ML implementation opportunities, deliver business cases, and embed AI technologies into customer operations
- Manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint, business drivers, competitors, and strategic goals
- Influence the long-term direction of strategic accounts by providing AI/ML thought leadership and trusted advisory services
- Ensure forecast accuracy, pipeline management, and achievement of quota and revenue targets within assigned territory
Experience & skills
- 10 years of experience in enterprise software, cloud computing, or AI/ML sales
- Proven experience partnering with technical staff to develop business cases and AI/ML implementation plans
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management for enterprise AI and cloud solutions
- Proven track record in promoting AI technology stacks and driving adoption
- Experience managing global system integrators and packaged software vendors in implementation projects
- Ability to work with product teams to embed AI technology into customer solutions
- Ability to connect AI/ML capabilities to business value and engage executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Ability to drive business growth across multiple AI/ML industry-specific use cases
- Strong experience in developing go-to-market strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of enterprise AI ethics and Responsible AI Framework application in sales and account management
