Job description
The Manager – Fulfilment Operations Management at Majid Al Futtaim (Digital Retail) is responsible for overseeing digital fulfilment operations across all e-commerce grocery fulfilment centres in the UAE. The role focuses on optimizing customer experience metrics (e.g., on-time handover, picking quality), reducing fulfilment costs (e.g., cost per order), and improving operational efficiency (e.g., Pickrate). Responsibilities include conducting audits, performance analysis, manpower planning, and ensuring compliance with fulfilment processes and policies. The manager will collaborate closely with fulfilment owners to drive efficiency, enforce operational guidelines, and contribute to the strategic growth of MAF’s digital retail operations. Candidates must have over 6 years of experience in e-commerce grocery fulfilment, with expertise in product design, operational KPIs, and strong analytical capabilities. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is required.

- Monitor and improve fulfilment customer experience metrics and cost efficiency indicators
- Analyze performance reports and conduct on-ground audits of fulfilment centres
- Support fulfilment operations through planning and continuous performance evaluation
- Develop and enforce operational compliance guidelines and process adoption
- Review and optimize manpower allocation based on projected volumes
- Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to boost KPIs
- Audit fulfilment processes and databases to identify gaps and propose corrective actions
- Contribute to updates and implementation of fulfilment operations policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with MAF Retail corporate policies and procedures
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field
- Have 6+ years of experience managing e-commerce grocery operations and fulfilment
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the e-commerce ecosystem and value chain
- Possess experience in product design for operational solutions
- Exhibit exceptional product management and business strategy planning skills
- Show strong quantitative and analytical skills
