The Payments – Market & Product Expansion Senior Associate role within J.P. Morgan Payments in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is part of the CEEMEA team responsible for implementing payments product strategy and delivering treasury services expansion initiatives across the UAE and wider Middle East region. The role focuses on enabling the rollout of innovative payment solutions within a high-scale financial infrastructure processing trillions of dollars in payments daily across global markets. The position requires close collaboration with regulators, product managers, sales, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and legal teams to deliver new treasury services capabilities and ensure successful market expansion. The role involves executing country expansion initiatives and supporting the development of corporate banking and treasury products including Accounts, Payables and Receivables, Liquidity solutions, client channels, and corporate card offerings. The Senior Associate is responsible for managing project delivery across product development lifecycles, ensuring timely execution of payment services rollout, tracking costs, revenue projections, and adherence to timelines while managing risks and escalating issues where necessary. The role includes developing commercialization and communication strategies to support market penetration and revenue growth, representing the organization at industry forums, and building relationships with regulators and external stakeholders. The position also involves supporting the design of current account capabilities and payment systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards. The role requires strong analytical capability, ability to define and document business requirements, and experience in delivering IT or regulatory projects within financial institutions. The Senior Associate plays a key role in shaping payments innovation and driving the adoption of next-generation treasury services across emerging markets in the Middle East.

- Implement payments product strategy across the UAE and Middle East region to ensure timely delivery of treasury services solutions and product capabilities
- Deliver country expansion initiatives focusing on treasury services and corporate banking products including Accounts, Payables & Receivables, Liquidity, Client Channels, and Corporate Cards
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Technology, Implementations, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to design, develop, and launch new payment products
- Write, collate, and define comprehensive business requirements to support product development and regulatory implementation initiatives
- Manage project execution including tracking timelines, costs, revenue projections, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while escalating issues appropriately to ensure successful delivery of payments initiatives
- Develop commercialization, go-to-market, and communication plans to support product adoption and market expansion
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators and external stakeholders while representing the organization at industry meetings and forums
- Support development of payment systems, current account capabilities, and digital treasury solutions for corporate clients
- Monitor product feature development and ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate experience in deploying IT or regulatory projects within financial institutions or banking environments
- Possess strong ability to write, collate, and define detailed business requirements for product and technology initiatives
- Demonstrate strong understanding of treasury services and corporate banking products including Accounts, Payables & Receivables, Liquidity, Client Channels, and Corporate Cards
- Possess proven project management skills including tracking deliverables, managing risks, and ensuring timely execution of complex initiatives
- Demonstrate ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions including technology, risk, operations, and senior management
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Demonstrate commercially minded approach with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
