The Data and AI Architect – Cognitive Computing Solutions at IBM Consulting in Riyadh is responsible for designing and implementing advanced cognitive computing solutions across hybrid cloud and multi-platform environments. The role focuses on translating complex business problems into scalable, reliable, and high-performance technical solution architectures using system engineering principles, cloud architectures, probabilistic and stochastic systems, and cognitive computing technologies. The architect leads the full lifecycle of cognitive solution development, including architecture design, system decomposition, solution synthesis, integration, and testing to ensure the delivery of fully functional cognitive systems. The role requires deep expertise in IBM Watson technology suite to select appropriate analytics components and develop comprehensive solution blueprints. These blueprints define the full information lifecycle from data sources through content processing, knowledge extraction, and cognitive reasoning outputs. The position involves integrating multiple software packages, data sources, content formats, representations, and content management systems to ensure seamless data flow and processing in cognitive solutions. The architect is responsible for ensuring performance architecture principles are applied, including scalability, reliability, and efficiency across distributed systems. The role also includes selecting analytics components and defining interfaces for cognitive applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategies and hybrid cloud environments. Additionally, the position leads solution development teams, guiding cross-functional engineering efforts in building, testing, and deploying cognitive systems that leverage AI and cloud technologies. The Data and AI Architect plays a key role in enabling enterprise clients to accelerate their AI and hybrid cloud transformation journeys through innovative cognitive solutions that combine advanced analytics, system engineering, and AI-driven insights.

- Design end-to-end cognitive computing solution architectures for complex business problems using system engineering principles, cloud architectures, and probabilistic system modeling.
- Lead the development, integration, and testing of cognitive solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and functional completeness of deployed systems.
- Select and integrate analytics components and cognitive technologies, including IBM Watson technology suite, to develop solution blueprints for enterprise use cases.
- Develop comprehensive solution blueprints that map the full information lifecycle from data sources through processing, knowledge management, and cognitive outputs.
- Engineer cognitive systems using system decomposition and system synthesis techniques to build modular, scalable, and efficient AI-driven architectures.
- Integrate multiple data sources, content formats, and content management systems to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and processing in cognitive solutions.
- Define system interfaces and integration points across hybrid cloud environments to support enterprise-scale cognitive computing applications.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams in the delivery of cognitive solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical performance standards.
- Ensure performance optimization of cognitive systems, including scalability, reliability, and efficiency across distributed cloud-based architectures.

- Demonstrate experience leading solution development, integration, and testing activities for complex enterprise-scale systems.
- Possess Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred for advanced technical and architectural expertise.
