Job description
Critical healthcare services run on the infrastructure this Specialist manages, from 24x7 Data Center operations through to the cloud and on-premises systems supporting patient care. You own the strategic architecture, governance and lifecycle of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, keeping scalability, resilience and security aligned with business objectives. Infrastructure roadmaps get developed and executed to modernize technology platforms while preserving high availability and operational excellence. CAPEX and OPEX optimization runs through infrastructure consolidation, cloud cost management, capacity planning, asset lifecycle work and license rationalization. Incident and Problem Management processes get owned directly, with critical issues across email, mobility and business application systems resolved against SLAs to reduce recurrence and downtime. On-premise and cloud collaboration services, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and email systems, get supported to ensure seamless integration and high availability. Directory Services, Email, MS Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive all stay reliable and secure, alongside the infrastructure that keeps healthcare applications such as Mediware, Tracker and PACS running without interruption. Governance mechanisms track infrastructure utilization, licensing compliance and cloud consumption, keeping technology investment returns maximized. Root-cause analysis on complex system and network issues gets led directly, and technical advisory and mentoring extend to the wider team throughout.
