Job description
The BYD Retail Sales Manager role manages the performance of the BYD retail sales team across large stores and pop-up locations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, delivery of premium customer experiences and execution of operational excellence in line with BYD brand standards. Responsibilities include leading, coaching and motivating Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets, monitoring daily metrics such as leads, test drives and conversions, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing development plans. The role ensures consistent delivery of a premium customer journey, resolution of escalated customer issues and support in complex sales negotiations while championing a customer-first culture aligned with BYD brand values. Operational duties include overseeing daily store and pop-up operations, ensuring readiness, cleanliness and adherence to visual merchandising standards, coordinating with marketing and events teams for activations and campaigns and managing inventory levels, vehicle display and test drive logistics. Reporting responsibilities include tracking and reporting sales performance, customer feedback and market trends and providing insights to senior management to support strategic planning and continuous improvement. The position collaborates with HR, training and product teams to ensure team readiness and strong product knowledge, and works closely with aftersales and delivery teams to ensure seamless customer handover. Requirements include written and spoken English, with Arabic, Russian or Mandarin beneficial, 8+ years of sales experience preferably in the mid-luxury retail industry, 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience and a valid UAE driving license. Job-related competencies include interpersonal and communication skills, customer service passion, upselling capabilities, negotiation skills, planning and scheduling abilities, multitasking and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience & skills

- Hold a valid UAE driving license
