Job description
As a member of the Employee Engagement & Culture Department, the Employee Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing and rolling out the employee engagement annual calendar, creating strategies and managing campaigns to enhance internal culture and morale. This includes planning and executing staff events, managing vendor and agency relationships, drafting internal communications in both Arabic and English, and ensuring alignment with the bankās values. The role involves coordination with various departments to support internal initiatives and requires a creative, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Plan and rollout Employee Engagement annual calendar of initiatives and events
- Create employee engagement strategies and tactics covering all suitable tools and channels
- Initiate and brief campaigns to creative agencies, media houses and vendors, and ensure the roll-out of deliverables
- Ensure the bankās internal communications are aligned around the vision and values of the bank
- Support internal events and activities for various stakeholders
- Execute internal engagement events and ensure visibility via internal communication channels
- Manage staff offerings and vendor discount programs
- Organize staff sports events, tournaments and teams
- Draft quality communication material in Arabic and English for internal and external channels
- Coordinate branding, videos, and communications material with creative agencies
- Work professionally with vendors and agencies for optimal outcomes
- Plan, track and monitor budgets, negotiate prices, ensure quality and timelines, and process payments accurately
- Understand and follow relevant policies, guidelines, SLAs and procedures
- Maintain progress records and prepare weekly and quarterly analytics reports
- Explore and implement technology-based solutions where needed
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications or similar majors
- 3ā5 yearsā experience in Marketing, Events, or Corporate Communications, preferably in the banking sector
- Fluency in written and verbal Arabic and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent organizational, time management, and detail orientation
- Creative, team-oriented and capable of out-of-the-box thinking
- Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills
