Job description
Abha and the wider Aseer Province are the setting for this Hill International position, which supports large infrastructure and city development work for government and semi-government clients. Water and wastewater projects are the main focus, so hands-on project management experience in that area carries a lot of weight. Detailed project plans start with you, covering timelines, budgets, resources and risk assessments, along with the engineering budget, project schedules and project control budgets. Across the life of each project, design, manufacturing, construction and maintenance teams all need coordinating so that project management, site management, project controls, engineering, procurement and construction management stay properly staffed. Engineering progress is tracked against budget and forecast schedule, and construction progress gets regular technical input from you. Contractors, vendors, clients, government entities and utility providers, as well as regional and site management, expect clear and timely reporting on status, trends and changes. Documentation also needs care, from progress reports and technical specifications to change orders. Safety is taken seriously, and experience implementing a zero accident philosophy is expected alongside at least 10 years on major projects.
