Job description
Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a Senior Director - Group Accounting and Tax to lead the group accounting and tax function, direct the consolidation and preparation of accurate financial statements for the group in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards, and develop and implement tax strategies that optimize the groupās tax position while ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. The role monitors changes in tax legislation and assesses their impact on operations and financial strategies; oversees the preparation and filing of all tax returns and the timely remittance of taxes; prepares and presents comprehensive financial reports and tax analyses to executive management; establishes strong internal controls and accounting policies to mitigate risk and enhance financial reporting accuracy; manages relationships with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure effective communication and collaboration during audits and tax assessments; and guides and mentors group accounting and tax teams to foster continuous improvement and professional development. Proficiency with financial reporting software and advanced Excel is required, with the capacity to interpret complex financial and tax data and operate effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Masterās degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) highly desirable
- 15+ years of experience in accounting and tax roles with strong focus on group consolidation and tax strategy, preferably in a multinational environment
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws with proven experience managing tax compliance and planning initiatives
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and tax data
- Proven experience leading teams with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills
