Job description
The Financial Planning & Analysis Team Leader - Production at Julphar serves as a finance business partner for Operations Management & Production functions, providing key financial information, tools, analysis, and business insights to stakeholders. The role is responsible for supporting production activity control to meet business and financial objectives, working with Operations to plan and manage production tasks to improve runtime, and developing robust inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, calculating standard unit costs, monitoring material movement in the production cycle, generating financial reports, identifying cost reduction opportunities, monitoring CAPEX, developing process improvements, resolving production planning problems, and performing ad-hoc financial analysis. The role requires a performance-driven individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accountability, planning and monitoring skills, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.

Key responsibilities
- Provide key financial information, tools, analysis, and business insights to stakeholders in Operations Management & Production functions
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances (PPV, POV, PUV), and opportunities for improvement
- Calculate standard unit costs and compare with actuals
- Plan and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Identify production cost reduction opportunities and guide operations management towards cost efficiency improvements
- Monitor CAPEX and report accordingly
- Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems to meet business objectives
- Work with materials, manufacturing, and purchasing departments to identify and resolve production planning problems
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support decision-making
Experience & skills
- Minimum 3+ years of total experience in Pharmaceutical or large Manufacturing industry
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- SAP experience is a must
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience in managing complex and sensitive operational challenges
- Proven experience in finance management, auditing, and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
