Job description
The Senior Relationship Manager – Mashreq Gold is responsible for providing a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) clients with personalized service to develop close relationships, achieve maximum profitable contribution, and retain client loyalty and respect. The role involves enhancing Mashreq Gold balance sheet sales and revenues, promoting cross-selling of bank products, sourcing new business through referrals and marketing, and ensuring clients are aware of all financial services offered by the bank. The position focuses on achieving annual and monthly financial targets, including cross-sell and up-sell to both existing and new-to-bank HNW clients, optimizing client value, maximizing profitability, maintaining proactive client contact, safeguarding against AML fraud, and enhancing the bank’s market profile.

Key responsibilities
- Provide personalized service to HNW clients to develop close relationships and achieve maximum profitable contribution
- Enhance Mashreq Gold balance sheet sales and promote cross-selling of bank products to existing clients
- Source new business from HNW clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal contacts
- Ensure clients are aware of all financial services offered by the bank
- Achieve financial goals set for the role including cross-sell and up-sell targets
- Optimize the potential value of the client base through delivery of MG products and services
- Communicate with HNW clients to identify their financial needs
- Maximize profitability from the Gold base while countering competition from other providers
- Acquire new-to-bank HNW clients
- Maintain superior customer service experience including pre-empting issues and proactive servicing
- Safeguard the bank from potential loss, AML fraud, and ensure ethical behavior during and after sales
- Enhance market profile and awareness and minimize customer attrition
- Maintain proactive client contact
Experience & skills
- University graduate
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a similar role in banking or financial services in the UAE
- Strong selling and financial markets knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Relationship management and networking skills
- Extrovert/amiable personality
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
