The Relationship Manager – Wealth Coverage (UAE & International) role is responsible for driving client acquisition and managing long-term relationships within the Priority and Private Banking segments in Abu Dhabi, with both local and international scope. The role focuses on identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-net-worth individuals and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in line with Priority and Private Banking qualifying criteria. The Relationship Manager sources, promotes, and cross-sells a comprehensive suite of wealth management and liability products, including Sukuk, structured products, mutual funds, BancaTakaful solutions, mortgages, and other banking products, contributing to growth in assets under management, liabilities, foreign exchange revenues, net new money, and overall front-end revenue. Leveraging the bank’s extensive international network, the role identifies cross-border wealth and liability opportunities across markets where the bank operates. The position involves close collaboration with product specialists, credit teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver bespoke client solutions. The Relationship Manager leads the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring all documentation, KYC, and regulatory compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time, while maintaining strict adherence to internal policies. The role also represents the bank at events, networking opportunities, and private client engagements to strengthen brand presence, generate leads, and drive referrals, while continuously monitoring performance metrics against assigned acquisition, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively source new-to-bank clients within Priority and Private Banking segments in line with qualifying criteria
- Build, manage, and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients to ensure sustained engagement and satisfaction
- Develop personalized client acquisition strategies by understanding client financial objectives, needs, and risk profiles
- Engage prospective clients through targeted outreach using internal networks, external networks, local and international branches, events, and marketing initiatives
- Promote and cross-sell wealth management products including Sukuk, structured products, mutual funds, BancaTakaful, and other banking solutions
- Source and cross-sell liability products and mortgages based on individual client circumstances
- Collaborate with product specialists, credit teams, and internal stakeholders to structure bespoke wealth and liability solutions
- Leverage the bank’s international network to identify cross-border wealth, liability, and client acquisition opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to maintain competitive wealth and liability propositions
- Lead the client onboarding process ensuring timely completion of documentation, KYC, and compliance requirements
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies governing client account management
- Achieve assigned targets for client acquisition, wealth revenues, assets under management, liabilities, foreign exchange revenues, and portfolio growth
- Track, monitor, and report performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas
- Represent the bank at networking events, private client gatherings, and industry engagements to enhance brand presence and generate leads
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in wealth management, priority banking, or private banking
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, private banking services, and liability solutions
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and build long-term, profitable relationships with HNWIs and UHNWIs
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to wealth management services
- Experience in sourcing and cross-selling wealth and liability products
- Ability to manage client onboarding, documentation, and KYC processes accurately and efficiently
- Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and performance tracking focus
